Staff Rheumatologist.

Work and enjoy the mountains, beaches, and urban life all within a short to day drive) has an opportunity for a motivated rheumatologist to join our growing team.
This position (full time, 1.0 FTE) is accountable for taking care of patients and completing all clinical responsibilities. Provides multidisciplinary team coordination services to the assigned areas. Provides medical education to residents, interns, and other students. The incumbent participates in or contributes to an environment to advance medical research. The incumbent provides independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan.
Currently experiencing over 28,000 established visits and 2,600 annual new patient visits and growing!

Requires Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a Medical School recognized by the North Carolina Medical Board, residency/fellowship completion, and active board certification. Current North Carolina medical license (or can gain), Drug Enforcement Administration (North Carolina address or can transfer).
