Locations: Wilmington, North Carolina Lewisville, North Carolina
Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Practice: ENT & Allergy Specialty Group
About the Practice
We are a progressive and growing specialty practice with two established clinics located in Wilmington and Lewisville, North Carolina, dedicated to the comprehensive management of allergies, sinus disorders, and asthma, integrated with advanced ENT medical and procedural care.
Led by a physician specializing in both ENT and Allergy, our clinic offers a unique, multidisciplinary environment where patients receive full-spectrum care in one setting.
As our practice continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth. This opportunity is ideal for a PA who enjoys procedural and diagnostic medicine, values autonomy, and wants to help shape a rapidly growing specialty practice.
Position Summary
The Physician Assistant will deliver comprehensive outpatient care in the fields of Allergy, Sinus, and Asthma, collaborating closely with the physician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients. The position includes significant hands-on procedural work, such as nasal endoscopy, allergy skin testing, and oral food challenge testing, with direct training and mentorship provided as needed.
You will manage acute and follow-up visits, perform diagnostic testing, oversee immunotherapy and asthma management programs, and contribute to community education and outreach. This role offers long-term professional and financial growth as the practice continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed evaluations and follow-up visits for allergy, sinus, and asthma care.
Perform and interpret skin testing (percutaneous and intradermal) and manage allergen immunotherapy programs.
Independently perform nasal endoscopies, in-office sinus and nasal procedures, and related diagnostics (training provided if needed).
Manage oral food challenges and drug desensitization protocols.
Oversee pulmonary evaluation, including pulmonary function testing (PFTs) and respiratory therapy treatments.
Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, X-ray) and coordinate results with care plans.
Handle same-day and urgent visits, especially during allergy seasons, ensuring prompt access to care.
Participate in community outreach and patient education initiatives to promote allergy and sinus awareness.
Work collaboratively with the physician and team to optimize clinic operations and patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with medical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Compensation & Incentives
Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 – $10,000 (based on experience and relocation needs), payable upon start and after completion of 12 months of employment.
Productivity / Revenue Share Program:
After the initial training and integration period (typically 12–24 months), the Physician Assistant will become eligible for a productivity-based compensation model. Under this program, the PA will receive 25% of annual net collected revenue exceeding the equivalent of twice their base salary, which represents the practice’s operating cost threshold.
This model is standard within procedural subspecialties such as Allergy/Immunology and ENT, providing both income stability and significant upside potential. It aligns compensation with clinical productivity and contribution to the growing practice.
For reference, PAs in comparable outpatient allergy and ENT practices typically achieve total compensation ranging from $130,000 – $180,000, depending on patient volume and procedural mix.
Additional Benefits:
CME/educational stipend up to $2,000 per year
Paid Time Off: 3 weeks vacation + 5 sick days
Relocation assistance available for candidates moving to North Carolina
Opportunity for procedural autonomy (nasal endoscopy, oral challenges, skin testing) and leadership in a growing two-site specialty clinic
(Note: Employer-provided health insurance is not included at this time.)
